Celebrating a Well-Deserved Recognition

Multrees is delighted to share that our Chief Culture & Communications Officer, Carole Lamond FCIPD, MAC, has been named a finalist in the Scottish Women in Business (SWIB) Awards 2026 for Championing Women.

Throughout her career, Carole has been passionate about creating opportunities for women to thrive, grow and reach their full potential. At Multrees, she has introduced and championed several initiatives designed to support women at every stage of their careers, from emerging talent through to senior leadership.

These include coaching and mentoring, investing in emerging talent through management development opportunities, introducing Insights Discovery to support colleagues become more effective leaders, and creating PowerSkills programmes to build confidence, resilience and the skills needed to succeed in a changing world.

Carole has also been a strong advocate for removing barriers that can impact career progression. She has led initiatives including menopause awareness training, our Make the Move Back programme supporting colleagues returning to work following parental leave, and wider development opportunities that enable people to build fulfilling and sustainable careers.

What makes this recognition particularly special is that it reflects Carole’s unwavering belief that when organisations invest in people, create inclusive opportunities and help individuals realise their potential, everyone benefits.

“I’ve never believed in ‘fixing women’ to succeed at work. I’ve always believed in creating environments where talented women can flourish, be visible, build confidence and have access to the opportunities they deserve. This nomination is recognition of the incredible women I’ve had the privilege to support and learn from throughout my career.” Carole Lamond FCIPD, MAC, Chief Culture & Communications Officer

Congratulations, Carole, on this fantastic achievement and for the positive impact you continue to make on so many careers.
