Chris has held several industry relevant roles in institutional, and retail focused global custody and wealth management businesses.
Chris and his established team of professionals have successfully brought an institutional model of global custody and investment operations insourcing experience to the wealth management sector.
An independent, open architecture and scalable partner of modular services has become a significant trusted partner for some of the most advanced wealth management propositions available in the market today.

Martyn Johnson is Chief Operating Officer at Multrees Investor Services, responsible for the firm’s operational strategy, delivery and control framework.
He oversees day‑to‑day operations with a focus on resilience, scalability and regulatory compliance, spanning operational governance, risk and controls, service delivery, technology enablement and third‑party oversight.
Before joining Multrees in 2022, Martyn held senior roles at J.P. Morgan within Global Fund Services and at Aegon UK, leading large‑scale operational, regulatory and technology transformation across regulated financial services environments.
He brings more than 25 years’ experience and works closely with the executive team to translate strategy into executable plans and support sustainable client growth.

Carole is a commercially astute, award-winning business leader having spent two decades delivering people-first strategies that drive business growth, operational scale, and leadership excellence. Carole leads the Culture & Communications function, bringing together cultural leadership with strategic, brand-aligned communications and marketing expertise.
Carole’s earlier career includes senior roles at Tesco Bank, Morgan Stanley, and Aegon where she led major change programmes, operating model redesign, and large-scale workforce transformation. Carole joined Multrees in 2021.
With a strong focus on connecting people, culture, and brand, Carole excels at aligning human capital and communication strategies with value-creation plans. She brings board-level influence, strategic clarity, and a passion for embedding culture and communications at the heart of business success.

Rachel has been with Multrees since 2016 and has built and grown her team to oversee these business-critical functions. Rachel is a Chartered Accountant (CA) – Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) – and holds an LL. B and Legal Diploma Graduate with Post Graduate Certificate in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Rachel joined Multrees from Deloitte where she was Audit Manager, focused on Asset Management and Financial Services Audit and consulting, working primarily on statutory audits for fund management and investment fund clients with experience of banking and manufacturing clients, CASS audits and controls assurance under ISAE3402 and AAF01/06.

Peter is the Chief Client Officer at Multrees, with over 30 years’ experience in the Wealth Management industry. His leadership prowess is evident as he adeptly guides and oversees a team of dedicated Client Relationship Managers, ensuring the delivery of excellent service for Multrees’ ultra-high-net worth clients. Peter also plays an integral part in identifying and helping to shape future client growth overseeing the company’s Sales function.
Peter embarked on his journey with Multrees in 2010, before joining Multrees, Peter held senior positions within a prominent Private Bank. There, he played a key role in shaping and fortifying their high-net-worth wealth and asset servicing division.
With a wealth of experience and a history of success, Peter is a driving force behind Multrees’ commitment to providing unparalleled service in the world of Wealth Management.

Keri-ann is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in the asset management and financial services industry. As a Chartered Accountant, her journey began at Alliance Trust, where she swiftly ascended from a graduate trainee to Trust Accountant. Transitioning to Scottish Widows, she honed her financial management expertise as a Senior Management Accountant before joining BlackRock, where she spent 12 transformative years. In roles such as Financial Controller and Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, Keri-ann navigated diverse realms including Asset Management, Life and Pensions, and FinTech.
Keri-ann’s tenure at BlackRock was marked by significant contributions to global projects and acquisitions. Leading teams across New York, Serbia, Paris, and Budapest, Keri-ann thrived in multicultural and challenging environments, solidifying her reputation as a dynamic leader and strategic thinker.

As part time Strategy Advisor to Multrees, Ian supports the Board, CEO and Executive Team with strategy, growth and governance issues and assists the Client Relationship Management and Marketing teams with client development initiatives.
Previously with EY, PwC, IBM and Orbium, a privately held Swiss firm and largest implementor of the Avaloq core banking solution, sold to Accenture in 2019, where he then held a wider European role until 2023. With extensive experience in working across the different wealth industry sub sectors, business operating models, geographic markets and with firms of various sizes, at different points in their lifecycle, he can work to firm specific circumstances and needs in a collaborative, cross functional and joined up way to help resolve their strategic, client, advisor, operating model and technology platform evolution.

David Nicol joined Multrees Investor Services in 2021 as a Non-Executive Director from his prior role as CEO of Brewin Dolphin where he led the successful transformation and significant growth of this business during his seven-year tenure.
Prior to this he spent 27 years at Morgan Stanley, initially in finance and then operations, working across the UK, Continental Europe, and Asia. David’s career in the financial industry spans well over three decades and includes extensive executive and board experience in the areas of finance, risk, wealth management, operations, and technology.
David has held numerous board appointments across foundations and the finance industry, including Euroclear, CISI and ICAS. Earlier this year, David has also recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for Julius Baer.

Magnus Carlsson joined Multrees as a Non-Executive Director in September 2022.
Mr Carlsson has held numerous senior positions at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) since joining the group in 1993, including Head of Project & Structured Finance and Head of Corporate Clients. Most recently he was Deputy President and Chief Executive Officer and has been a member of SEB’s Executive Committee since 2004.
Prior to SEB, Magnus worked in The Bank of Nova Scotia (1980-1993) in London, Toronto, New York and Oslo.
Magnus holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden. He is married, has two sons and lives in London.

Elaine Clements was successfully appointed to the Board of Multrees Investor Services as a Non-Executive Director in 2021. Elaine brings a wealth of experience in global regulatory and compliance matters to the Board.
Elaine was a solicitor with Slaughter and May, she joined JP Morgan Asset Management in 2000 initially as a senior lawyer advising the asset and wealth management institutional and retail businesses before being appointed Head of International and then Global Head of Compliance in 2006. Elaine led a team of 130 people in 11 countries and was accountable for strategy, resourcing and execution of the JPM Asset Management compliance, regulatory risk assessment and monitoring programme.
She was also a member of JPM Asset Management global executive, EMEA audit risk assurance and group wide regional committees.

Craig is a Senior Client Relationship Manager within the CRM Team having worked in the finance sector since he moved to Edinburgh in 1997 and started working with Edinburgh Financial Publishing. (alongside 4 other current Multrees employees!). He spent the next 18 years working as a relationship manager, primarily with Reuters where he worked with a variety of global and regional investment banks across Europe and further afield, managing partnerships with the broker research departments.
Craig joined Pete and the CRM team at Multrees in 2017 and has been managing some of our key relationships over the last 8 years and helping to develop our partnerships significantly. He has worked on numerous client implementations and migrations over the years and forged strong relationships with our clients.
Away from the office, you can find Craig chasing a ball round the squash court or heading off on the piste with skiing being one of his other passions.

Natalia is a Senior Client Relationship Manager and started her career in Wealth Management and Private Banking in London in 2009. She quickly progressed from an Assistant role to Relationship Manager and worked with a variety of UK and Swiss private banks while managing a book of high-net worth Eastern European clients.
She joined Multrees in 2018 and quickly became a highly valuable member of the team. She has successfully managed client relationships and gained significant experience working on large projects ranging from client implementations and migrations to smaller changes in operational processes where her ability to adapt to the needs of each client has resulted in strong client relationships and business growth. She has extensive knowledge of custody operational processes and always ensures that the client receives the best possible outcome.
When not at work, Natalia enjoys a good road trip and travelling abroad. She is a fair-weather hiker so, on rainy days, you will find her tucked up in the house with a good book.

David is a Relationship Manager and joined Multrees in 2015 while completing his studies in Business Management at Edinburgh Napier University. He started his career in operations and quickly became a valuable asset to the business, gaining significant experience in technical operational knowledge of the Wealth Management industry through his roles in Data Management, Reconciliations, Treasury, Transfers and Corporate Actions.
Since joining the Relationship Management team in 2021, David has been vital in the growth and development of the business. He has successfully managed client relationships, building mutual trust and strong partnerships with our client firms. His in-depth knowledge of operational processes has helped him complete various client projects to a high standard with the client’s needs and outcomes being top priority.
Outside of work, David enjoys travelling and exploring the world. He is very competitive and a keen sportsman so you will find him blowing off steam on the football and rugby pitch.

In 2019, Billie joined Multrees and has been an integral part of the Operational teams working in Treasury and Corporate Actions.
In 2024, Billie moved to the Client Relationship Management team and is responsible for a portfolio of clients.

Fiona has worked in the finance industry for over 25 years for companies such as Standard Life, HSBC and BNY. Working as a Transfer Agency Service Delivery Manager for BNY since 2007 and was responsible for the implementation of developing and maintaining relationships with three key Fund Managers.
Before this, Fiona held numerous operational managerial roles for both BNY and Standard Life Investments.
In her spare time, she can be found walking her cocker spaniel in the Pentland hills or watching her kids play football or rugby.

Gordon is the Marketing, Press, and Communications Manager at Multrees Investor Services, bringing over 25 years of expertise in the Financial and Wealth Management sectors.
He launched his career at one of the UK’s leading banks, where he spent more than two decades in various management roles spanning Client Service, Transformation, and Customer Due Diligence.
In 2022, Gordon joined Multrees, returning to his home country of Scotland after an impactful 11-year tenure in London.
At Multrees, Gordon plays a key role in shaping the brand, refining its visual identity, and overseeing external press relations, ensuring consistent and strategic communication across all channels.

Lauryn is the Marketing Consultant at Multrees Investor Services. After graduating with a degree in Business Management and Marketing, she began her career with Selective Personnel, working at national stadiums across Scotland. Lauryn quickly progressed to a Client Account Manager role, coordinating staffing operations at major venues including Murrayfield Stadium, Hibernian FC, and Heart of Midlothian FC.
Returning to Glasgow to pursue her passion for marketing, Lauryn joined Multrees to put her academic background into practice. Lauryn works alongside Marketing Manager Gordon Cameron, contributing to brand awareness, strengthening visual identity and supporting external press relations, while helping to achieve clear and consistent communication across all platforms.
