Our Approach to AI
At Multrees, we view AI as an important enabler of better client outcomes, operational efficiency and innovation, but one that must be adopted responsibly and with appropriate governance.
We are investing in AI across three key areas:
1. Building internal capability and productivity
We have rolled out AI training across the firm and are equipping colleagues with Microsoft Copilot, our preferred secure, enterprise-grade AI platform. This helps our teams improve productivity, automate routine tasks and focus more time on delivering value to clients, whilst ensuring AI is used responsibly and within a controlled environment.
2. Leveraging innovation across our technology ecosystem
We are continually assessing developments in AI and working closely with our technology partners to benefit from AI-enabled capabilities embedded within key client and operational solutions across areas such as client portals, private asset administration, lending support and workflow management. By combining internal AI capabilities with innovation from our specialist providers, we can enhance service delivery, streamline processes and improve the client experience.
3. Strengthening the foundations for future AI adoption
We recognise that successful AI adoption depends on high-quality data and efficient processes. As a result, we are continuing to invest in improvements to data quality, workflow optimisation and operational infrastructure, including enhancements to onboarding and data management processes. These initiatives deliver immediate benefits for clients while also creating the foundation required to support more advanced AI capabilities in the future.
Keeping pace with change
AI is evolving rapidly and we actively monitor developments across the wealth management and technology sectors. We continually assess new opportunities, emerging use cases and innovations that could benefit our clients, while ensuring adoption remains aligned with our regulatory obligations, security standards and risk appetite. Any use of AI is subject to robust governance, risk assessment, data security controls and oversight, with human judgement and accountability remaining central to all client-facing activities and decision-making.
Our approach is deliberately measured: embracing innovation where it delivers real value, while maintaining the trust, professionalism and personal service that our clients expect from Multrees.
