Chris Fisher
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Chris is Chief Executive Officer of Multrees. He has over 25 years' experience in asset servicing and wealth management businesses. Chris has held a number of industry relevant roles with UBS and Brown Brothers Harriman.
Whether clients are seeking a tailored service or a hybrid solution, Chris and his established team of wealth management professionals have extensive investment operations outsourcing experience, together with an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by businesses within the industry.
Clive Stelfox
DIRECTOR
In addition to his role as Director of Multrees, Clive is also responsible for Operations, Technology and Change.
With over 30 years' experience in investment management and private banking operations, Clive has held a number of senior roles with Barclays Wealth, Gerrard Investment Management and its predecessor Grieg Middleton. He is a Chartered Fellow of CISI and has an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School.
His combination of client service and operational experience ensures he is able to bring a big picture level of insight to both our team and our clients.
Martyn Johnson
CHIEF TRANSFORMATION OFFICER
With 23 years Industry experience. including most recently Fund Services at JP Morgan, Martyn has been leading Strategic Transformation Programmes at Blue Chip companies for more than half of his career.
Martyn role as CTO is responsible for setting and delivering our ongoing technology roadmap covering Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Application Development.
Carole Lamond
CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER
With over 30 years Human Resources experience, Carole is our Head of People. She is an experienced People Director who has worked in financial services for over 20 years with companies such as Morgan Stanley and Tesco Bank. Carole has deep specialisms in Reward, Talent Management, Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition, having led these teams in the past. Carole has extensive business transformation experience, specifically guiding leadership teams in the creation of two banks, establishing new organisational structures, and setting strategic objectives.
Carole is passionate about developing capability, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), a qualified Executive Coach, and a Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC). Carole is a non-executive director in the third sector.
Rachel Robertson
CHIEF RISK AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Rachel is Chief Risk and Compliance for Multrees. She has been with Multrees for over 5 years and has built and grown her team to oversee these business critical functions. Rachel is a Chartered Accountant (CA) - Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and holds a LL.B and Diploma Graduate with Post Graduate Certificate in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Rachel joined Multrees from Deloitte where she was Audit Manager, focused on Asset Management and Financial Services Audit, working primarily on statutory audits for fund management and investment fund clients with experience of banking and manufacturing clients and controls assurance under ISAE3402 and AAF01/06.
Christopher Hancock
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Chris joined Multrees 9 years ago after a ten year career as an Army Officer and a short stint as an investment manager. Following roles in the client relationship team, Operations and Data Governance, Chris assumed the role of COO in January 2024, responsible for all operational service delivery for our clients.
Chris brings 20 years of experience in developing people and building teams to the role. He is a Chartered member of the CISI and has an MBA from the Open University Business School.

David Nicol
CHAIRMAN
David Nicol joined Multrees Investor Services in 2021 as a Non-Executive Director from his prior role as CEO of Brewin Dolphin where he led the successful transformation and significant growth of this business during his seven-year tenure.
Prior to this he spent 27 years at Morgan Stanley, initially in finance and then operations, working across the UK, Continental Europe, and Asia. David’s career in the financial industry spans well over three decades and includes extensive executive and board experience in the areas of finance, risk, wealth management, operations, and technology.
David has held numerous board appointments across foundations and the finance industry, including Euroclear, CISI and ICAS. Earlier this year, David has also recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for Julius Baer.
Magnus Carlsson
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Magnus Carlsson joined Multrees as a Non-Executive Director in September 2022.
Mr Carlsson has held numerous senior positions at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) since joining the group in 1993, including Head of Project & Structured Finance and Head of Corporate Clients. Most recently he was Deputy President and Chief Executive Officer and has been a member of SEB’s Executive Committee since 2004.
Prior to SEB, Magnus worked in The Bank of Nova Scotia (1980-1993) in London, Toronto, New York and Oslo.
Magnus holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden. He is married, has two sons and lives in London
Elaine Clements
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Elaine Clements was successfully appointed to the Board of Multrees Investor Services as a Non-Executive Director in 2021. Elaine brings a wealth of experience in global regulatory and compliance matters to the Board.
Elaine is qualified solicitor, she joined JP Morgan Asset Management in 2000 initially as a senior lawyer advising the asset and wealth management institutional and retail businesses before being appointed Global Head of Compliance in 2006. Elaine led a team of 130 people in 11 countries and was accountable for strategy, resourcing and execution of the JPM Asset Management compliance, regulatory risk assessment and monitoring programme.
She was also a member of JPM Asset Management global executive, EMEA audit risk assurance and group wide regional committees.
