Multrees’ five a side football team raises money for the Scottish Association of Mental Health
Multrees Investor Services (Multrees), a global leader in outsourced platform, investment administration and custody services, is proud to be supporting the Scottish Association of Mental Health, raising £800 in a charity five-a-side football event. The Multrees team which was made up of 5 past apprentices who took part in the event on the 19th of August.
Arranged by networking charity business “Business Fives” the tournament took place at Sighthill Park, Edinburgh and consisted of 30 business teams from across Scotland competing in a series of 10 minute, five-a-side games, raising money for business-chosen charities.
The Scottish Association of Mental Health, selected by Multrees as the charity of choice, works with both adults and young people in providing mental health and social care support, offering services in primary care, schools as well as further education. Programmes include helping people with community engagement, homelessness, suicide prevention and mental health outreach.
The annual event raised a combined total of over £4000 across all 30 teams for a number of charities.

“Winning five out of the six games and reaching the coveted “Champions League,” team Multrees’s triumphant run was however curtailed in the quarter finals where they lost 2-0. The team’s hard work was rewarded nevertheless, raising £800 for the charity which far surpassed our target of £250.”
