Multrees expands management team with two new hires
Multrees Investor Services (Multrees), an award-winning provider of outsourced platform, investment administration and custody services, today announces the appointments of Ian Catherall to the newly created role of Head of Change and Proposition Management and Martyn Johnson, who will be joining the business as Programme Director.
Ian will be responsible for driving the on-going business change agenda and further enhancing our innovative proposition. As Programme Director, Martyn will partner closely with Ian to create a cohesive, accelerated Transformation Programme which will enable Multrees to meet its strategic growth objectives.
Ian joins from Barclays where he began his career over 35 years ago. He brings significant industry knowledge and expertise gained from a wide range of change, proposition and service delivery roles in wealth management, private banking and stockbroking. Most recently as a Programme Director in Barclays Private Bank, he also has extensive experience in designing, building and optimizing client journeys, together with the underlying investment platforms.
Martyn brings with him over 20 years of experience within the Financial Services Industry. He specialises in defining and delivering Business Transformation programmes – most recently at JP Morgan within the Digital Platform Services business. Here he successfully defined and implemented an Internal Data Consultancy service, driving data strategy and delivering business improvement across its global locations. His other experience also includes work with AEGON UK. Here, as a leader within IT and Change he led the incredibly successful transformation programme which set the delivery blueprint for future change to their digital platform.

Multrees has seen rapid growth over the past few years with assets under administration up 40% over the past two years. The business also opened a third office in Glasgow to support the head office in Edinburgh and the business hub in London.
