Multrees announces appointment to Board of Directors

Multrees Investor Services (Multrees), an award-winning provider of outsourced platform, investment administration and custody services, today announces a new Board appointment. Magnus Carlsson has joined Multrees as a Non-Executive Director.
Mr Carlsson has held numerous senior positions at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) since joining the group in 1993, including Head of Project & Structured Finance and Head of Corporate Clients. Most recently he was Deputy President and Chief Executive Officer and has been a member of SEB’s Executive Committee since 2004.
Multrees Chief Executive Officer Chris Fisher commented: “We are pleased to welcome Magnus to the Board. As someone with deep knowledge of the financial sector and decades of experience in financial services, he will be a significant asset to the business and we are pleased to have him on board.”

Multrees has seen rapid growth with assets under administration up 50% over the past two years. The business posted a record quarter for both gross and net inflows in Q2 of almost £2bn.
In its current growth phase, Multrees has been shoring up its strength with various new senior appointments as it executes on its business development strategy. It was also recently awarded the coveted “Best Institutional Platform” at the Schroders UK Platform Awards.
