The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) previously consulted in parallel with the industry on proposed rules and expectations that sought to improve diversity equity and inclusion (D&EI) at firms that fall under their remits. However, the FCA announced earlier this month that the project will no longer be going ahead.
